2024's Ultimate Electric Bikes: Unveiling 125 km Mileage on Full Charge & Price Revealed

Mumbai-based electric two-wheeler company Odyssey-EV has started the delivery of its new electric motorcycle a few days ago. Whose name is Vader. Currently there are 5,000 bookings for this battery operated bike. The company plans to hand over the keys of the e-bikes to those buyers within the next six months.

Last month, the company started its delivery only after Odysse Vader received the iCAT certificate after passing all the tests. Let us tell you that this electric motorcycle was launched in March 2023 at a price of Tk 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The range on full charge is claimed to be 125 km. Deliveries of the Odyssey Vader were to begin from August this year, but the company was forced to advance it due to changes in the Centre's fame subsidy scheme.


Later, the price of the battery-powered motorcycle was increased to Tk 1.62 lakh (ex-showroom). Opponents include – Oben Roar, Hop Oxo, Revolt RV400 and Mater Era. In this context, CEO Nemin Vora said, "As far as our products are concerned, production is continuing. But I plan to make 300 to 400 units of Vader in the first two months. We currently have a backlog of 5,000 bookings, which we are aiming to fulfill within the next six months.”


" There is wide demand mainly from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka,This model has wide demand in South India, since the initial phase of deliveries" Vora said. Incidentally, the Odyssey EV currently has 68 dealerships across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. As can be seen, the company has a relatively high number of dealerships in South, West and Central India.


Note that Odyssey EV is currently working on a high-speed electric scooter. It can be launched next year. It will have as much power as a 125 cc petrol scooter. Recently the company has opened dealerships in many states of North-East and Eastern India. They are Assam, West Bengal and Odisha. ODC plans to increase the number of outlets from 90 to 150 by March 2025.
