Harley Davidson will soon launch a low-cost motorcycle model in India. Harley Davidson X440 will launch its cheapest model in the Indian market on July 3. Before launch, the company shared some pictures of this bike. Recently, bookings for this bike have also started. Now the sound coming from the exhaust note i.D. silencer appears. The sound emitted from the muffler of this 440 cc motorcycle is also very special.
You can book this bike through the company's official dealership for a booking amount of Rs 25,000. This will be the cheapest bike offered by Harley in the Indian market.The company may launch it at a price range of Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh. Its deliveries could start from September this year.
This is the first model developed in cooperation between Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp. The styling of the motorcycle is done by Harley-Davidson and the overall engineering, testing and development is done by Hero MotoCorp.On the outside, it looks like a stylish motorcycle, reflecting Harley's DNA. Leaked images show that the company has used Daytime Running Lights (DRL) on the motorcycle which has “Harley-Davidson” written on it.
The front of the car is equipped with USD forks instead of telescopic forks, while the rear has a more traditional look. Dual shock absorbers are equipped at the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with Bibra disc brakes at both ends and dual-channel ABS.To do this, the company is using a digital instrument cluster, although it remains to be seen whether it will be an LCD or a TFT display.
Speaking of ergonomics, it doesn't have front footrests or swept handlebars like we see on cruisers. Instead, the company has given a center footpeg and flat handlebars to this bike.
